Salvage

The GM will award salvage after each battle depending on the contract specifics and the mission. Usually to get salvage, friendly forces must occupy the territory for at least a few hours after the battle is finished. If the unit does receive salvage, and there are no dispossessed Mechwarriors waiting for a Mech, the players can roll to try and swap their current Mech for a salvaged one.

To do this the players’ need to make a Bargaining Skill check (players with the Bargaining advantage get a +2 to this roll). If the roll is 9 or higher than the player has convinced command that they deserve the swap. If multiple players want to swap, the highest roll gets first choice and so on. All rolls done between sessions will be made by the GM.
