St. John (pronounced Sin-Jin) Teach

Teach says he originally hails from a planet called Tortuga, although no one can pin him down on exactly where this system resides. Most people think he is a former pirate, or at least had dealings with plenty of pirates in his past. His greasy hair and wild, bushy black beard do nothing to contradict this impression.

He knows his way around a Mech, however, especially the practical application of laser weapons. This is obviously why he was contracted by Earthwerks-FWL to assist in factory design of Battlemechs.
